Dark Side of the Moon Jacket

My husband is a Pink Floyd fan, so I embellished this denim jacket for him.


I cut out thin strips of fabric in rainbow colours and zig-zag stitched them to the jacket.


I'm really pleased how it turned out and so is he  :-)

A Heart for Molly

My gorgeous daughter, Alex is expecting a baby girl so I made this hanging heart for her nursery wall. (Inspired by Carolyn Saxby's hearts)

It's embellished with free motion stitching, lots of assorted bits and bobs including tyvek beads and inchies.
I can't wait to be a granny :-)




She is going to call her Molly. xXx

Hearts

The theme for Tag Tuesday this week is 'Hearts'

I recycled my tag from the bin at work, I crinkled it up a bit and painted it white. I dabbed purple ink on the tag and around the edges, added an inchie with a purple felt heart.

The big heart I cut from an old piece of kitchen paper that I use to wipe my brushes.  I added a tyvek bead, a tiny heart and a purple ribbon to finish,

I've been making a few beads to use as embellishments in future projects.
