Tag Tuesday - Letter A

Painted Tag
Tag Tuesday - Letter A
My first tag of 2013
A is for Art.  I used green and blue acrylic paints, black Posca pen and Lumiere paint to make this tag.  I finished it off with twisted wine bottle wire and a tyvek bead.

A Heart for Molly

My gorgeous daughter, Alex is expecting a baby girl so I made this hanging heart for her nursery wall. (Inspired by Carolyn Saxby's hearts)

It's embellished with free motion stitching, lots of assorted bits and bobs including tyvek beads and inchies.
I can't wait to be a granny :-)

She is going to call her Molly. xXx

Hearts

The theme for Tag Tuesday this week is 'Hearts'
I recycled my tag from the bin at work, I crinkled it up a bit and painted it white. I dabbed purple ink on the tag and around the edges, added an inchie with a purple felt heart.
The big heart I cut from an old piece of kitchen paper that I use to wipe my brushes.  I added a tyvek bead, a tiny heart and a purple ribbon to finish,

Yuletide Craftiness

Here are some of the bits and bobs I've been making this festive season.
 Decoration for the door
Some yummy chocolate orange fudge to give away
I decorated each jar with a bit of gingham and organza,
some fabric beads, an inchie and an organza bow

 Solstice Cards:
These I made using a Wordle image and printed onto card then
embellished with some recycled ribbon.

 A cute heart door hanger:
A few Inchies:
I used play foam sheets instead of batting this time
and I found them easier to sew and the foam gives a much firmer finish
and a few tyvek beads.
